UP date by Citrus

Howdy folks....I just wanna send out a little UP date on the spirit that is in the flesh that you call Citrus or maybe Chris...or maybe even something else.
this little self has been running around doing this and that and the other thing. Things that most of you know about or think you do anyway. it has been playin so much guitar that it’s fingers are getting shorter and flat-er. LOL....
okay...enough of the zentalk..


I lost a guitar! Yeah that was the big I. Not one of my loves mind you...just a good working instrument that was great for teaching with. a drag and a wake up call....WAKE UP CITTY CIT CIT!

i have been doing wonderful work with U.S. Pipe....
We are finally getting this recording thing happening...with SO MUCH HELP! We have recorded a damn fine album and are getting ready to mix it. It is pretty simple...Not a bunch of guests and extra this or that in it. i laid all the guitar overdubs for ten songs in about an hour and a half or so. There will be mistakes and such..but whatever..it REPRESENTS the sound in a great way. Like Shider always told me anyway..."it’s all sketch’s man". We have a thick as a brick sound on this album. I can’t wait to let it out there!
It’s been really getting us tighter and tighter too....the tape don’t lie and we have all learned a lot about what each of us is doing and how our individual parts effect each other. I am proud of the band.


i have been teaching like a madman at Swallow hill! a Jimi Hendrix class...a guitar logic class and some basic intro to guitar stuff too...LOVING IT...it is just so sweet to see the lightbulb go on over a mugz head....to see them excited cuz they are learning and growing...and to give people the tools to express themselves...The classes that i am teaching are TEACHING ME...not only new stuff..but stuff that i maybe know..but didn’t REALIZE...so i am just REALIZING stuff...tryin to anyway..to make them real.
Next session is Led Zep. afta dat...Hindustani rags and exotic scales..etc etc etc...

Been LOVING my new crib...but still don’t have all the crap out of the old one...my gawd...I have filled a dumpster a few times with all the baggage and old stuff I been carrying...like from the very start of my time on earth!

Getting ready to get this tooth fixed as well.....making an appointment monday!!!!!

i am gonna work a date for George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic....they are gonna be in Copper Mtn this weekend and need sum Citrafunk! So i am gonna give em some...i don’t know what’s gonna happen...just gonna have a nice day and do what i do.

Haven’t spent as much time with my Grandmother as I would like to...gotta work on that one...
